The Orientation Program for the 23rd Exchanging Students Has Started

The Tatsuno International Association held the opening ceremony of the orientation program, November 4th.

The superintendent of educational affair Mr. Miyazawa , Principal Mr. Hisoka Kawate , the students and there families were gathering in the volunteer center. The 8 students were cheered and celebrated.

All members except Riku Tanaka were introduced and they gave a speech.

The TIA directors introduced themselves and sang "POKARE KARE ANA" as usual.

Waitomo Garden Clean Up

On Saturday, T.I.A.  members gathered and worked for the Waitomo Garden in The Tatsuno Dohyo Park.

Honoka got the 1st prize

Honoka Hiroshima got the 1st prize on English Speech Contest by Junior high school students . She had got the 2nd prize in last year.

 The English Speech Contest by junior high school students held on 10th of September.
21 students gathered and spoke about there hobbies, club activities, favorite subjects and other themes.

 Mr. Kazunori Miyazawa the Superintendent of educational affair, Ms. Chieko Aoyama Practical professor of Honan Collage, Ms. Mary Aruga Lecturer of Suwa Science University of Tokyo, Anthony Gordon ALT of Tatsuno Town and Akira Kakiuchi the Chairman of TIA judged. 

And,4 students got the honors.

2nd prize Mao Komatsu
3rd prize Tatsuya Aruga and Wataru Ozawa

Cheering Party for Junior-High School Students

Tatsuno International Association held a cheering party for junior high school students participated at the 22nd Waitomo Home-Stay Program on March 11.

The associate town mayor Mr.Yasuo Takei , the council chairperson Mr. Toshio Miyashita , the superintendents of the educational affair attended Mr.Kazunori Miyazawa and some VIP of the town gathered and cheered for the students.

They will leave Narita on the 20th, enter Waitomo on the 23rd. The delegation will  be exchanging at  PUKENUI School with sharing homes for 5 days until the 27th.

A visit at the school of Maniapoto is scheduled and the students' impressions about culture of Maori is interested in from now.
