On December 5th, an orientation ceremony was held for junior high school students participating in the Waitomo Remote Conference hosted by the Tatsuno International Association.
The homestay program scheduled for March this year has been canceled due to measures against coronavirus infection, and it has been decided that the 26th homestay program scheduled for March next year will also be changed to a remote exchange meeting.
The English course for remote meetings is this orientation program. When we the T.I.A called on the second year students of Tatsuno Junior High School and Ryo-Ono Junior High School to participate, there were three applications from Tatsuno Junior High School.
Erika Nakayama, Yura Otsuki, and Kaoruko Miyahara will take eight courses to improve their English skills for a remote exchange meeting with an elementary school in the Waitomo District scheduled for March 20th next year.
