cleaning work for the Waitomo garden

We did the cleaning work of the Waitomo garden this year too.

We corrected the planting of the azalea covered with the grass to show the shape of the New Zealand again.

The firefly festival will start at the end of this week, too.

We met the NZambassador.

The sister city conference was held in ambassador New Zealand official residence on May 28, 2010.

Mrs.Ishikawa and Mr.Kakiuchi attended from TIA, and they could meet with the ambassador Mr.Ian Kennedy.

the general meeting

The regular general meeting of the T.I.A.(Tatsuno International Association ) was held on May 23.

The congratulatory address was described from the mayor Mr.Yagasaki , following the chairman greeting.

And the action plan in 2010 was approved.

The speech of experiences from the junior high school students who had participated in the homestay program was announced after the general meeting.

The appreciation for the hospitalities they received from Waitomo people were explained from everybody.

The principal of junior high school was invited for our drinking party at the night.
